David RogersonDavid Rogerson has been involved in nearly every facet of the media, communications and research industries from National Marketing Manager to Company Director. In addition he has held managerial and directorial positions in Market Research Companies, and large global media and communications companies in a variety of Capital City and Regional markets around Australia.

His articles on research and consumer behaviour have been widely published in both Australian and global media publications.

Past and present clients include major operators in the commercial and public sector as well as global research companies, government media legislators, commercial and private organisations, the outdoor advertising industry, shopping malls and advertising agencies. He has also been responsible for the marketing operational, and marketing development of the electronic portable people meter device in the Asia Pacific Region, serving as a senior adviser and Project Director for Arbitron Inc, USA.

David’s background covers over 30 years in Media and Communications. He holds an Honours Diploma in Advertising through the University of Technology, Sydney; and is a graduate of Radio Executive Management program from the Notre Dame University, USA. He is a visiting guest lecturer in marketing, sales and research at the Australian Film Television and Radio School and sits on the student review panel. David is also a visiting lecturer in research and media marketing at the University Of Newcastle.

David is sought after as a presenter of media research analysis papers at conventions in Australia and overseas, delivering papers to the European Symposium of Market Research (ESOMAR) and other international symposiums in France, Poland, Spain, USA and Belgium.  He is also a published author of media related books and journal articles, and has assisted a wide range of directors, managers and executives via corporate training in the areas of communication, dealing with the media and developing strategic planning for business growth.
